The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Fixed Assets and under the direction of Senior Accountants the Staff Accountant will be a part of a superior finance function building within Canopy Growth, including its wholly owned subsidiaries.  This individual will be a detail-oriented person who can work independently and in collaboration with the finance team.


  • Preparing and processing journal entries
  • Maintains finance ledgers by verifying and posting transactions
  • Perform various general ledger reconciliation
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis
  • Data entry of key financial data records into ERP system
  • Aid and support senior finance staff
  • Other duties as assigned


  • 3 + years of accounting experience
  • Strong excel skills and ERP skills
  • Ability to organize/prioritize workload
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to exercise tact and discretion
  • Strong work ethic and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Bilingualism an asset
